Sweet Treats!

Good evening! I made this card earlier today and kept thinking "don't forget to put it up" but I did - until now! :)
To be honest, at first I wasnt 100% happy with the card... but it came to be because I really wanted to use the background paper with black... but I also wanted my ice cream flavors to be green and pink. However, together they werent looking so cute lol but in the end I ♥ it.
These are the scraps (for Whimsical Wednesday) I used... midway through I used a piece of black that I found in my stash of scraps for the card base rather than kraft.
Here is the embossing for My Craft Spot - Ice cream (you cant really see the cone embossed also but it is... I used a fiskars plate on the cuttlebug).
Just showing the popped up ice cream cone :)

I am entering this card into several challenges ! :)

Spinner Card - Take One

Hello! The card I made today has a short story to it. A few months ago I was checking out Miss Glora's blog from Glora's Crafts.. she had this cuuuute spinner card with a doll from twinkle toes that had a sad and happy face.. so I showed my husband. Fast forward a couple months later, we're discussing something and I got a little upset, so he tells me I should make myself a card that has changeable faces like the card I had showed him. I laughed sooo hard, I couldn't believe he remembered lol!!! So I decided to create one :) You can see her card/inspiration here.

Let me warn you, the card didn't end up as it should have. Maybe because I started shifting the circle lol but it's "okay" for my first try at a spinner card lol

Happy Face :)
Sad face :(
Angry face >:-(
Hahaha this is how horrible the inside came out lol If I wouldn't have cut it, there would have been a BIG piece of paper sticking out.. bigger than this lol Note to self: Don't mess with the basics!!

Doll - Twinkle Toes
Scallop border - Plantin Schoolbook
Spinner Card Base - Wild Card Cartridge

DT Call - My Pink Stamper

Hello all & good evening! My final post for the day that just couldn't wait until tomorrow is a challenge for My Pink Stamper's Design Team Call! The challenge is to make a card, scrapbook page, or other cricut project with your favorite cricut cartridge using the colors: Orange, Turquoise, Green, Brown, and an optional color of your choice.

For this card I used the Pooh Font Set cartridge. I chose the "To my honey..." sentiment because who loves honey the most??!?!!  Winnie the Pooh!! Also, I went with this cartridge because my husband calls me pooh bear and couldnt resist because it went hand-in-hand with the sentiment.  :)

Recipe for this card:
"To my honey..." Sentiment - My Pink Stamper "Love-alicious"
Pooh - Pooh Font Set cartridge ( I actually hid the face and drew the "eye" lol)
Grass - Everyday Paper Dolls
Cloud - Create a Critter
Base for Pooh - Twinkle Toes cartridge
Scallop border - Plantin Schoolbook

Hehe I promise, this is my final card for the day!

Hello Kitty! :)

I think this might be a record, three posts in one day! Woo hoo!! I have been crafting most of the day so that's good!
Today I was looking at Miss Maribel's post from I Love Scrapping and she used hello kitty in such a cute way I got inspired to dust off my Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge BUT while I was doing so I realized I haven't used the Hello Kitty Font cartridge in what seems to be... never lol so I gave that a go! Hope you likeyy :) Have a GREAT NIGHT !!

Hehe I thought I'd share two more cards I did today! Both of these cards are simple and similar yet cuuute :)

Doll - New Arrival cartridge
Adorable Face - Peachy Keen "Just Baby Faces" Assortment

This is how the inside looks for both of the cards. The sentiment and little foot are also from My Pink Stamper "Sweet Baby." Hmm... I usually blank out when working on the inside.. any tips?? I've tried adding a border all around, top and bottom, stitching, but for some reason I'm never fully satisfied with the inside. Any tips, ideas please let me know!!! :)

Merci!

Woah! It's been almost TEN days since I last posted!! What the heck I'm slacking!! lol
Today I'm sharing a card that I am entering for My Creative Time Throwback Thursday challenge (Use either the Wild Card or Just Because Cartridge).

I used the popular scalloped base from Wild Card! :) and "merci" is from the oldie, but goodie cartridge: Beyond Birthdays.

Hi guys! Today I was crafting pretty much until noon and gave in and took the Let's Face it Friday challenge. The challenge was to create a project showcasing the year you graduated from high school.
I graduated in 2008 and that summer after graduation I met my husband ♥ .... at work (in a call center)! :)

Sooooo for the challege, I created a 12x12 layout of us "meeting & working" lol

Word Book

Hello all, hope you guys had a great weekend! Tonight I'm sharing the first and only word book I've ever created!

I'm sure I've mentioned it somewhere in my blog, but Arcy came from my hubby's name and mine.
ARmando & CYndy = Arcy ♥
I just welded the squares/rectangles with the shadow of "ARCY" from the Storybook cartridge and then cut the "ARCY" in the normal mode.
The inside of "A" and "R"
The ferris wheel and tickets are from the Summer Vacation seasonal cartridge :)
Here's a closer look at them.. (I know, I know simple... but cute right? )
Behind the "R" is my hubby <33 lol The Golden Gate/San Francisco cut is from the Destinations cartridge.
The very back of the book! The shoes & the phrase are from Sweethearts.

That's it for my book! Wish you all here in the United States a safe 4th of July tomorrow!!
aaand I leave you with a quote:
