Merry Christmas - Tree Box

Hi everyone! Today is my day to post over at Joy's Life design team blog and this week we are showcasing bags and boxes. I made a "tree box" to use as a stocking stuffer and I absolutely love it!
This little gem of a box is found in Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge. I had totally forgotten it!
The snow cutie is from Winter Frolic cartridge
The sentiment is from Joy's Life Wintery Puns stamp set.
The tree box is deep enough to hold quite a few "baby" snickers and a few peppermints.
The face on the snow cutie is from Peachy Keen's Happy Lashes stamp set.

Just a quick tip: Save your cartridge clam shells! :-) You can reuse it for your boxes :-)
This beautiful pattern paper is from DCWV's Four Seasons stack.

Exploring Cricut Guest Designer.. yeah!

I'm super excited that I was asked to be a guest designer for Exploring Cricut today! Check out the blog HERE and make sure to follow for DAILY Cricut inspiration ;-)

I recently got the Dr. Checkup cartridge, which I have been eyeing for a while, and love it! I love to use Peachy Keen faces and this cartridge is perfect for them!

The girl is from the Dr. Checkup cartridge and the shopping bags she's holding are from the Doodlecharms cartridge
Her darling face is from Peachy Keen's Cherub Faces assortment. The mat that she's on is the XL Label Die from My Creative Time.
You can see she's mounted on foam tape for dimension. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps, Winter Wishes. I inked around the edges of the mats with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

Thank you so much for stopping by and make sure to check out Exploring Cricut for your Cricut fix ;-)

Buzzin' by with a birthday hi

Hello everyone! I hope all of you had a warm and Happy Thanksgiving! Did any of you do the Black Friday shopping? My bestie and I went to Michael's and scored a new Cricut E2, cartridges, mats, and even a 15 piece set of Rachael Ray cookware for $99! She always finds the BEST deals around!!

We are back in action over at Made Especially for You since we took last week off due to the holiday :-)
This week's challenge is to create a shaped card. Anything but a square or rectangle. Easy peasy. I'm running low on my birthday cards so I decided to make one to keep at hand.

This beeutiful bear is from the Teddy Bears Parade cartridge. I love, love, love this cartridge.
The stamp shaped card is from the Birthday Bash cartridge. I'm not sure if you've taken a look at this cartridge, but it's seriously loaded with goodies. It has a font, banner, shaped cards, and many cute cuts.
The cute little face on the bear is from Peachy Keen's Rag Doll & Teddy Face AssortmentThe sentiment is from Pink by Design.
Usually I do the white mat on the inside, but this time I liked the look of the Kraft paper so I kept it that way.
The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms stamp set Amusing Animals
I also added zots on the bear to give it some dimension.

This little McBear is from the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge.
The mat that the bear is on is from the Elegant Edges cartridge
I used Tim Holtz Faded Jeans Distress Ink to ink around the mat. The face is from Peachy Keen's Rag Doll & Teddy Bear face assortment.
This is the sentiment on the inside. Both the sentiment on the front and inside are from My Creative Time's So Grateful for You stamp set.

tree-mendous wishes for a sparkling holiday season

Hi everyone! Over at Joy's Life design team blog you will be seeing cards all week long! Also, in case you missed the Tags & Bags blog hop you can still hop along HERE

I know Thanksgiving is just around the corner, but so is Christmas! I'm trying to not fall behind on my cards this year so I've been getting a head start.
For my card I used the brand new stamp set Oh, Christmas Puns. I just love it!
This cute little tree is from the Winter Frolic cartridge
Here is a closer look at the sentiment. Get yours HERE
Here's a close up of the tree. :-) I used Crystal stickles to create the glitter border.
I used Tim Holtz Walnut Distress Ink to ink around the edges.

I'm not sure if you can see, but I used foam tape to give the mats some dimension.

Take a look at the new stamp set. You can get yours HERE

Tags & Bags Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to Joy's Life Design Team Tags & Bags Blog Hop!
You should have arrived from Maria's blog, Joyful Stamper. If you just happened to stop by, make sure you start over at Joy's blog, Joy's Life. You don't want to miss a thing!
For my project today, I decided to make a small bag and hope to mass produce these later as the holidays approach. I used two of Joy's stamp sets and I'm so excited to keep using them for the holidays coming up! They're so much fun! You must get your hands on these!

The bag and the mat that Hello Kitty is on are from the Artiste cartridge. I can't help but to use this cart every time! Hello Kitty is from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge
This sentiment is from the brand new stamp set Oh, Christmas Puns
This sentiment is from Joy's Wintery Puns - an oldie, but definitely a goodie.
The red holly pattern paper is from DCWV's Ultimate stack. The green polka dot pattern paper is from My Mind's Eye. The eyes and nose on Hello Kitty are from Peachy Keen's Super Simple Eyes and Noses. The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam. I'm thinking for the next bags I create I might ink up the ribbon with Tim Holtz Festive Berries Distress Inks.

Here are the two stamp sets I used. Don't you love them?!

SO... where is the blog candy?
The winner will receive one of the two holiday stamp sets - winner's choice :-)

Happy Holidays gift tags

Hello everyone! This is my last post for today I promise hehe
Over at Joy's Life Design Team blog, we were asked to create gift tags. I decided to get a head start on the holidays and made some small boxes to use as stocking stuffers and added these gift tags.

Yep, the box is from the Artiste cartridge. I can't tell you enough how much I love this cartridge! I really don't remember which cartridge the scallop circle is from. I decided to cut the scallop circles with the Cricut vs. a paper punch because I'm making quite a few of these.
Both of these sentiments are from Joy's Life Stamps, All Around Sentiments. Don't they stamp beautifully?
For the sentiment above, I actually got three different stamps and positioned them how I wanted. How convenient is this?
The bottom one comes as is, but if you're looking for a different center sentiment, check out Joy's video HERE. :-)
I was going for a semi-vintage look. Not too "cutesy" if that makes sense.

P.S.
Joy has a brand new stamp set that is available for PRE-ORDER!
Isn't this set fabulous?!

happy fall y'all

Hello again :-)
This week's challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog is Fall Harvest. You just have to make a project using leaves.
So I decided to go with a CAS look.
The tree is from Sweethearts cartridge. The sentiment is from Joy's Life stamps, It's All Fall Puns stamp set. All of the paper is from My Mind's Eye.

Don't forget to stop by and join in on the challenge HERE! :-)

give thanks

Hello everyone and welcome to another Made Especially for You challenge! Since October is gone, we are getting a head start on our Thanksgiving cards over at MEFY! This week's challenge is to create a Thanksgiving card using Kraft cardstock.

The image is a digi from The Stamping Boutique, it's called Pumpkin Pie
The sentiment is from Joy's Life's stamps: It's All Fall Puns stamp set.
The border at the bottom is from a Martha Stewart punch.. I'm not exactly sure of the name, but I believe it's Lace. I inked the edges with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink and then pop dotted it onto a another layer of the border.

Please make sure to join us HERE for a chance to win three digital stamps from The Stamping Boutique - winner's choice!
