Challenge Me Monday #96

Hello! Today's challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut is to create a “Valentiny” card – a small card measuring 3x3. Usually I stick with the regular A2 size, but decided to try these little cards. I have to say, I had fun!

I kept it simple :) The pink polka dot paper was just border punched with Fiskars Notebook Border Punch. The hearts were cut at 1.5 from the Art Philosophy cartridge and stamped with the coordinating stamp from the bundle.  The sentiment and lips are from My Creative Time's Happy Mail.
Join in because the prize is MCT's 100 % Sweetness stamp set! :)

Hope you have a great week and thanks for looking!

First card:

This bear is from Create a Critter and her adorable face is from Peachy Keen's Critter Faces.

This doggy is from the Sweethearts cartridge and its face is from PK's Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed Assortment.
Both of the sentiments are from MCT's You Had Me at Chocolate set ♥

You're Purrfect

Happy Friday ! Back in October/November when Walmart was clearancing the lite cartridges, my bestie scored us a few for TEN BUCKS!! I barely used one today for the first time!
This darling girl and cat are from the Meow Lite cartridge. I just looove her!
The sentiment is from Pink By Design's A Haunting We Will Go!  The border on the yellow paper is from the Fiskars Sunburst Border Punch. I inked around the edges of the card with Vintage Photo distress ink.
I put some zots to add a little dimension. The adorable face on the girl is from Peachy Keen's Princess Face Assortment and that cutie face on the cat is from PK's Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed Assortment.

Gonna try to work on more cards, hopefully I have time to post more later on  :)
Thanks for looking!

My Favorite Stamp of the Month - You Had Me at Chocolate

Happy Saturday guys! Emma over at My Creative Time just had her first "My Favorite Stamp of the Month." This week she and her fab DT are showcasing "You Had Me at Chocolate" which is my absolute fave! I loooove it!! I was going to post an old project, but I got some motivation and whipped up a card :)

The hearts are from MCT's 100% Sweetness set which comes with the Stitched Heart Die! The stamp on the first heart is also from that set.
"Hugs & Kisses" and "Happy Valentine's Day" are from MCT's You Had Me at Chocolate!
I inked around the edges of the card with Tim Holtz's Festive Berries Distress Ink.
I used zots to pop up the hearts a little since they were blending in too much the background paper.

This cute stamp is from the 100% Sweetness stamp set also!

So look for your projects with this stamp set or create new ones and link 'em up! :o)

Thanks for looking and have a great weekend !

Winter Layout

I hope all of you guys are having a great Sunday evening! So, I'm trying to be more active on my blog. For now, I'm aiming to post at least twice a week (I know, not a lot, but heyyy it's a start right?☺) I'm also trying to work on more layouts, seeing that once I got into card making, I pretty much left LOs behind. Anywhooo! Here it is.. must warn you.. veryyy simple
"WINTER" is from Winter Frolic. The mitten and little beanie are from Simply Charmed.
Their super duper adorable faces are from The Cornies stamp set from Peachy Keen.
The border on top is the Fiskars Sunburst Border Punch. (I got it at Ross for $4.99 if I remember correctly a while back, but never got around to using it until now lol)

I'm so sorry for the terrible pictures! I'm working on getting a camera... I really want the Nikon 1, but I cant justify dropping $599 on a camera lol for the time being, my phone camera will have to do :(
Well, thank you soo much for looking and hope all of you are off to a great, crafty 2012!!

More tags!

Good morning and Happy New Year to all of you! Wow! Can't believe its 2012, but so glad :) I usually don't do tags or use chipboard, but a few weeks ago I bought the Art Philosophy bundle and it cost me a pretty penny sooo I'm taking it upon myself to use EVERYTHING! So here go two more tags
I just cut paper the same size as the tag and just layered. simple enough ;)  I used My Creative Time's Turn That Frown Upside Down for both sentiments and Keepin' It Classy for the girls :)

I tried using scraps which is why this one is cut off from the bottom lol
I used my cropidile to insert the eyelet.
Thanks so much for looking !
